More #HurricaneMatthew chatter

At this point all I can do is blog.  And pray.

I can’t take any more news or weather feed.  I’m not ready to turn on the emergency weather notifications on my phone on, either.

Waiting for a 9 a.m. meeting that will determine if I head to the hospital as support staff or head to Orlando to join my family as we hunker down together.

Fortunately, I slept like a baby at my step-dad’s last night.  He lives on the river and the view is spectacular.  Always.  It was nice to have company and sleep a good sleep, because I know the next two nights will be tough.  The breeze this morning on the balcony was lovely with my coffee and my daily Readings.  #Grateful

The laundry is done.

The dishwasher is empty.

The house is clean.

The tub is bleached and filled with water.  All available containers filled with water.

Phone  charged.  Computer charged.

I’ve put FB back on my phone for the storm so as to let fam and friends know we are safe throughout the storm (providing we don’t lose service).

Emergency papers are in the trunk.  Emergency cash is on hand.

We are as ready as we can be at this point.

I think I’ll pour my leftover coffee pot in a pitcher and stick it in the fridge for later.

I gotta feeling we’ll need it.

Blessings and prayers.  Keep ’em coming!
